Ap Sglein
This is the app version of the Sglein Ar-lein website. The website and app have been created for learners who are studying Welsh as a first language.
The app gives a taste of the content of the website and is designed to offer interactive grammatical tests and challenges on mobile phones and tablets.

Cywirdeb Iaith
This app has been created for learners of Welsh as a second language at an Advanced Level. The app provides a taster of the ‘Cywirdeb Iaith’ website content.
It’s been designed to offer interactive grammatical challenges and experiences on smart phones and tablet devices. You can choose to play against the clock too.

Ap Treiglo
The aim of Ap Treiglo is to aid Welsh speakers and learners with checking mutations.
The search element of the app only includes those words which cause the words that immediately follow them to mutate. Therefore, it doesn’t include all of the Welsh language mutation rules. But if you use the revision feature of the app, you should be able to find all the rules to help you know when a mutation is required.

Fferm Ddiogel
Fferm Ddiogel is designed to help learners identify and understand potential hazards on the farm, as well as learn how to avoid them in safe and practical ways.Â
Explore the farmyard, where you will learn about the hazards associated with agricultural settings and equipment commonly found on the farm. Visit our ATV training centre, where you will learn about the dangers of riding ATVs. Finally, you can gain experience working with animals in a safe and controlled environment, learning about the risks associated with handling livestock.
Our app features five friendly avatars, Ceri, Bevan, Jack, Yana, and Geth, who will guide you through each scenario, providing helpful tips and advice along the way. They will help you identify hazards, understand the potential risks they pose, and how to avoid those risks.
Perfect for lecturers and assessors who want to teach practical elements of the curriculum in a safe and controlled environment.
This resource has Welsh audio with both Welsh and English subtitles.

GPC Geiriadur Welsh Dictionary
This app provides definitions of words searched for in Welsh as well as the corresponding English translations and examples of how the words are used. It also includes a number of technical terms and definitions.
This app will work off-line so you don’t need an internet connection in order to use it.

BBC Cymru Fyw
BBC Cymru Fyw is a Welsh-language news and media platform offering up-to-date information on current affairs, culture, sport, and entertainment. It’s an excellent resource for learners and fluent speakers alike, helping users immerse themselves in real Welsh. The website and app provide articles, videos, and radio clips that showcase authentic language use in everyday contexts. Reading and listening to news stories in Welsh helps learners expand their vocabulary, improve comprehension, and gain confidence. BBC Cymru Fyw also reflects life in Wales, giving insight into local communities and events. It’s a valuable, reliable, and accessible tool for learning and practising Welsh.

Ap Geiriaduron
This app contains the general dictionary Cysgair, and also the dictionaries of standard terms for schools and further education colleges in Wales, Y Termiadur Addysg. For universities in Wales, it also includes Coleg Cymraeg Cenedlaethol’s Geiriadur Termau.
Each of these dictionaries are English-Welsh/Welsh-English and will work off-line so you don’t need an internet connection in order to use them.

Chwaraeon trwy’r Gymraeg
The aim of this app is to support learners, apprentices and workers who need support to use the Welsh language confidently in sports related professional situations.
The app has been separated into useful units - including general terms and phrases and more specific categories such as 'The body’ and ‘Fitness’.
