Fferm Ddiogel is designed to help learners identify and understand potential hazards on the farm, as well as learn how to avoid them in safe and practical ways. 

Explore the farmyard, where you will learn about the hazards associated with agricultural settings and equipment commonly found on the farm. Visit our ATV training centre, where you will learn about the dangers of riding ATVs. Finally, you can gain experience working with animals in a safe and controlled environment, learning about the risks associated with handling livestock.

Our app features five friendly avatars, Ceri, Bevan, Jack, Yana, and Geth, who will guide you through each scenario, providing helpful tips and advice along the way. They will help you identify hazards, understand the potential risks they pose, and how to avoid those risks.

Perfect for lecturers and assessors who want to teach practical elements of the curriculum in a safe and controlled environment.

This resource has Welsh audio with both Welsh and English subtitles.

This is an app to help you learn to speak natural Welsh easily and quickly. Based on the latest research in language learning. The Say Something in Welsh app helps you speak and understand Welsh from the start, without complicated grammar rules. All 16-25 year olds who follow a Learn Welsh course have the opportunity to follow the Say Something in Welsh resource free of charge for 12 months.

The aim of this app is to support learners and workers within Public Services to use the Welsh language with the public.

The app includes sound clips of useful terms and vocabulary to help users with pronunciation, along with interactive quizzes to test knowledge.

This app contains the general dictionary Cysgair, and also the dictionaries of standard terms for schools and further education colleges in Wales, Y Termiadur Addysg. For universities in Wales, it also includes Coleg Cymraeg Cenedlaethol’s Geiriadur Termau.

Each of these dictionaries are English-Welsh/Welsh-English and will work off-line so you don’t need an internet connection in order to use them.
